Description
Yerba mate is a traditional South American drink made from the leaves of a native holly plant, known for its naturally stimulating properties.
A refreshing and clean flavour with subtle green tea characteristics and herbaceous notes. Earthy with a gentle natural bitterness.
Naturally high in caffeine and containing vitamins B1, B2 and C. Enjoy it on its own, or add a slice of lemon, a little sugar or a splash of milk.
Brewing Guide
1 teaspoon per cup (200-250ml). Steep for 1-3 mins in 95°C water. (Guide only, please adjust to suit personal taste).
